I am extremely disappointed with my experience with this place. I uploaded my Medicaid information to their website because I am experiencing severe financial hardship I was still sent a quote for $912.09 for all four brakes. I guess they pick and choose who they are going to truly help with their so called blessing program. A church referred me to them and they were completely baffled by the price I was quoted. This place couldn't even give me the common courtesy of responding to my message asking about the price despite having a message option where you can send a text. Their so called mission statement and the experience I personally had with them does not match I expected fairness and meaningful assistance. Really scary they have my Medicaid information. Edit to them finally responding. Please don't attempt to justify your over priced brake quote. What you trying to compare your price to the dealership? Other shops other than the dealership gave me basically the same price as your so called helping people on snap or Medicaid. Thank you for still not responding to internal text board. So if I wasn't on Medicaid and didn't have severe hardship what would have been the price? It shows you the mindset of this these people I never did once expect free. Extremely disrespectful individuals and bad experience with this place.

Because of the type of vehicle, these parts are considerably more expensive than those for many standard vehicles. Even with the wholesale pricing available to Mechanics of Faith, the parts alone are approximately $912. A comparable repair at a traditional for-profit repair shop could be approximately $1,600 or more. Through our nonprofit mission and reduced pricing, we are able to save you approximately $600 on this repair. Providing Medicaid information or documentation of financial hardship helps us determine eligibility for our reduced-cost services, but unfortunately it does not mean that every repair can be provided free of charge. Mechanics of Faith still has to cover the cost of parts, equipment, our facility, training, and the expenses required to keep our doors open and continue serving families. We would love to be able to do even more. With additional donations, sponsors, and community support, we could provide greater assistance to families facing situations just like yours. We would also encourage you to reach out to your church or other local organizations to see if they may be willing to help contribute toward the remaining cost of your repairs.
